The main building is the heart of the farm. The magnificent main house of approximately 1,000 square meters was built in 1719 and houses, among other things, 7 double rooms and 1 single room, each with its own bathroom. The common areas include a fireplace/library, dining room and two dining rooms. You can use these rooms as a guest. The terrace in the main building can be used in the summer with lovely views of Lake Mjøsa and the garden. The historic garden outside the house is terraced and abounds with flowers throughout the spring and summer.
The view from the room is of the courtyard and the clock tower. Highly recommended, with cozy, old furniture and lots of history in the walls. Coffee/tea is available in the common area. Bathrobe and wellness products in the bathroom from the Oslo-based brand Sprekenhus. Free parking is available. Electric car charger available at the farm with the EasyPark app. You must bring your own charging cable. Access to a bathhouse by Lake Mjøsa with sauna and steam room for an extra charge.
