General cancellation/reduction conditions.
All cancellations and changes must be notified to the company in writing to be valid.
The cancellation provisions must be disclosed to the customer when ordering.
If national or local guidelines at the time of cancellation indicate that the event/visit cannot be carried out, no cancellation fee is charged. We look together at solutions to change/postpone dates for the visit.
Room/breakfast single room, even 2 rooms booked:
Free cancellation deadline at 16:00 3 days before the day of arrival.
Courses/conferences, groups, day packages and full board, from 3 rooms:
| Free cancellation of the entire event: | 8 weeks before arrival date |
| 50% of the event can be canceled until: | 5 weeks before arrival date |
If no reductions have been made previously, it can be given, free of charge:
| 30% reduction | up to 4 weeks before arrival |
| 10% reduction | up to 2 weeks before arrival |
| 5% reduction | up to 1 week before arrival |
This assumes that previous deadlines have not been used.
Reductions cannot be made later than 1 week before arrival.
For cancellation of a room later than the above-mentioned deadlines, or departure before the booked date, the booker will be charged 100% of the agreed price for room and board for the ordered number of days. The above cancellation deadlines also apply to other goods and services that have been ordered.
Cancellation on the day of arrival or no show, the booker will be charged 100% of the agreed price for the entire stay.
Weddings:
There is a large influx of weddings at Hoel Gård. For this reason, we must inform you of the following: If a wedding is canceled more than three weeks after the acceptance of the wedding reservation has been sent, Hoel Gård will invoice the booker NOK 25,000. Cancellation within a year before arrival is invoiced for 100% of the agreed pension for the mentioned number of guests at the time of booking.
