A wedding day will always be memorable, but it can also be incredibly hectic. That’s when it’s nice not to have to worry about the details yourself, so you can just enjoy every single minute.

At Hoel Gård, the surroundings set a completely different setting for the celebration, perhaps with the wedding in the historic garden overlooking Mjøsa, perhaps inside the venerable ballroom. But above all, we have the experience and all the practical facilities to ensure that every little part of the big day is taken care of. And when it’s over, the newlyweds can retire to the farm’s romantic bridal suite in the garden.

Since 1993, we have had close to 400 large and small weddings on the farm, and we know how much it means that all the practical things are in place. And – of course, we attach equal importance to the details of other private celebrations and events. This can be, for example, birthdays, Christmas parties and various family gatherings.

During peak season (May through September), we require a minimum of 85 guests, and the farm must be rented from Friday through Sunday. During peak season, all 37 rooms must also be booked. We have just under 100 beds on our farm and the neighboring farm. During the off-season, the minimum number of guests is 50, and stays are from Saturday to Sunday if desired. During the off-season, a minimum of 20 rooms must be booked.

If you’d like to get married here, the package includes flowers provided by our in-house florist (separate pricing applies). We’ll send you an invoice after the wedding, with the exception of a partial payment of 75,000 in January of the same year. We provide food and drinks throughout the weekend, just like a regular hotel.

Everything we serve has rich, natural flavors. Take, for example, our farm-fresh grape sorbet—made from our own grapes.
