BATH HOUSE, SAUNA AND HOT TUB
Right down by the water’s edge and with Lake Mjøsa as your closest neighbor, you will find our bath house, located in connection with our bathing jetty. This house offers peace and well-being, and offers a fireplace room for relaxation and quality time with the sound of the waves right outside the door. The house is inspired by an old summer barn that stood there in the 19th century, and the remains of an old potato flour factory were used in the project. The building was completed in the fall of 2024, and was designed by architect Geir Dingstad of BASE Arkitekter. The interior designer is Corniche Interiørdesign.
The sauna in connection with the bath house is inspired by the farm’s own potato cellar and is somewhat reminiscent of a built-in vault/cave that blends perfectly into the terrain. The sauna connects you closely to nature and Lake Mjøsa. Treat yourself to a lovely and relaxing time by the water’s edge. After some time in the sauna, it is refreshing to have a lovely swim in Lake Mjøsa followed by a nice and warm experience in our outdoor hot tub. The bathhouse, sauna and hot tub are available to all guests, but must be booked in advance.

OUTDOOR BATHTUB BY MJØSA
Enjoy a relaxing bath in our outdoor bathtubs with a view of Lake Mjøsa, the sunset, and our own little island just outside the farm. Perfect for couples or friends looking for a peaceful and atmospheric experience together.
The bathtub is booked for 45 minutes and costs 250 NOK per person. Included in the price are bathrobes, towels, slippers, and luxurious soaps from Sprekenhus – everything arranged for a comfortable and exclusive moment in tranquil surroundings and a beautiful cultural landscape.
